Traditional Yoga
Classical asana, Surya Namaskar, relaxation and disciplined practice approached with steadiness and awareness.
Samarpan Yog is a traditional Yoga practice rooted in Hatha Yoga and inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananda Saraswati Ji and Swami Vishnudevananda Ji. Yoga is approached here as a complete discipline, not physical exercise alone.
“Practice sincerely. Offer the effort. Release the attachment to the result.”
Yoga begins with the body, but gradually turns the practitioner inward — from body to breath, from breath to prana, from mind to awareness, discipline and self-understanding.
The practice brings together asana, pranayama, relaxation, meditation, yogic philosophy, traditional cleansing practices, mantra, bhakti and sattvik living. The intention is not to perform Yoga, but to allow practice to shape the way we live.
Traditional disciplines that support practice both on and beyond the yoga mat.
Classical asana, Surya Namaskar, relaxation and disciplined practice approached with steadiness and awareness.
Breath, concentration and meditation practiced gradually with awareness, discipline and appropriate guidance.
Wholesome food, mindful routine, moderation, simplicity and conscious conduct as part of everyday practice.
Yogic philosophy, self-observation, bhakti, seva and disciplined Sadhana give direction to the practice.
Samarpan Yog values consistency over performance: discipline without harshness, compassion without indulgence, tradition without rigidity and spirituality without superstition.
Whether practice happens online, in a special program or amid the Himalayan environment of Sadhana Kutir, the intention remains the same: practise sincerely, observe carefully and carry Yoga into food, speech, work, relationships and daily life.
